Innovate to be Free

Background

We are Cuba and U.S.-based startup founders and fintech entrepreneurs, collaborators, and investors.

Local laws in Cuba today permit limited and regulated entrepreneurship focused on the domestic market. Most tech startups and online businesses have uncertain legal status.

The U.S. embargo of Cuba and related OFAC sanctions are intended to reduce the power and influence of the ruling communist regime.

Exemptions to the sanctions are designed to support residents of Cuba who are not affiliated with the sanctioned regime, including independent entrepreneurs and the private sector in general.

The purpose of this community is to help independent Cuba-based tech entrepreneurs and their startups grow by connecting them with founders, collaborators, clients, and supporters from all over the world.

We are united by a common commandment—Innovate to be Free— and a common coin $QVA.
